RESERVATIONS, PAYMENT, AND CANCELLATION TERMS
Reservations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Room availability for each hotel and room category (king or twin bed) is limited.
All rates are quoted in MYR and are inclusive of 8% Sales and Services Tax (SST).
Please note that a Sustainability Fee of RM7.00 per room per night applies to Malaysian citizens, while a Tourism Tax of RM10.00 per room per night will be imposed on foreign guests, in accordance with government regulations.
Reservation Guarantee & Payment Schedule
- To guarantee the group reservation, a 50% deposit of the total room block value is required upon booking confirmation. The remaining 50% balance must be settled no later than 20 September 2026.
- For bookings of fewer than 9 rooms, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Notes:
- Should additional room(s) be required, an updated invoice will be issued accordingly. Please note that no reservation will be confirmed until payment is received.
- Hotel confirmation number(s) will be provided two (2) weeks prior to the check-in date.
Cancellation / Attrition Schedule
The following cancellation charges shall apply based on the number of days prior to arrival. All modifications or cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to secretariat@mpa2026.org.
- Up until 90 days (20 June 2026): 5%
- Up until 90 days (20 July 2026): 10%
- 89 days – 60 days (20 August 2026): 10%
- 59 days – 45 days (4 September 2026): 10%
- 44 days – 30 days (14 September 2026): 5%
- 29 days or less: 100% charge of the entire stay

Mode of Payment
Payment may be made via bank transfer or Visa/Mastercard.
All credit card and merchant fees (5%) must be borne by the payer and not deducted from the payable amount.
